Our first Lapbook

We are doing our first lapbook here.  I have been intrigued with the idea of notebooking and lapbooking for quite some time, but I haven't ever gotten to the point o actually pulling it all together.  I finally decided to take the leap.  I found a free simple one on live and learn press and joined thier yahoo group to boot.  Emma and Owen are doing the "All About Me" lapbook.  It is a tad below their age level, but I just wanted to do something very basic to get our feet wet.  I also printed up a Thanksgiving one- but it is looking like that one will have to wait till next year.  I am toying with maybe doing a Jesse Tree lapbook or something else religiously Christmas oriented- but we'll see.  We have so much going on right now that I my be being a tad too optimistic.
